While the game has a fantastic community dedicatedly creating Stardew Valley mod-packs to ease inevitable repetitiveness of the gameplay, mod-packs have limitations within the base game - which is why the developer taking the time to put new canon mechanics into the game is exciting for fans. It also shows the investment ConcernedApe has in giving players quality content that consistently improves the game. Stardew Valley has continuously gotten better thanks to these updates, keeping the game relevant and fresh for farming fans. Longtime fans of Stardew Valley will have the ability to start a new game with a new farm map and fresh new adventures in the Community Center thanks to the 1.5 update. So, I've got hundreds of hours into this game. With new crops, new areas, and new animals to raise, Stardew Valley feels almost new for those who have been with the farming sim since its humble indie beginnings. Got a lot of the museum donations already but haven't finished that collection. Seems the little worms I'm digging up aren't yielding much anymore except clay or wild seeds or other ordinary items.
